Senator Pete Flores, who represents Texas’s 24th Senate district, used his social media platform to highlight recent legislative priorities and personal convictions in early January 2026.
On January 6, Flores emphasized the impact of recent policy measures by posting, “Big wins for Texas this year. From border security to law enforcement support and property rights, these reforms make our state safer and stronger. Let’s keep pushing forward.”
The following day, he addressed his stance on abortion, stating on January 7: “I believe life begins at conception. Every life is precious, a gift from God, and worthy of protection. I will always stand up for the unborn.”
On January 9, Flores marked Law Enforcement Appreciation Day with a message of gratitude: “Today is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. I’m grateful for the men and women who put on the badge and protect our communities every day. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.”
Flores was elected as a Republican to the Texas State Senate in 2023, representing District 24 after succeeding Dawn Buckingham.
