Senator Pete Flores, who represents Texas’ 24th Senate district, used his social media platform this week to inform constituents about the state’s annual Tax-Free Weekend and to honor service members on Purple Heart Day.
The following day, August 7, he recognized Purple Heart Day with a tribute: “On Purple Heart Day, we honor the brave men and women who were wounded or made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.
