The following day, October 16, Flores reported on his participation at a professional event in San Antonio. In his post he stated, “Spoke to a full house at the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors State Convention at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort in San Antonio. Grateful for the chance to discuss the 89th #txlege session!”.
On October 17, Flores addressed an ongoing investigation into recent natural disasters affecting Central Texas. He posted, “I am leading the Senate’s role on the joint committee investigating the deadly July 4 floods in Central Texas, including the tragedy at Camp Mystic.
