CHEROKEE ISD: 2020 Cherokee Indian Football Season Guidelines

Guidelines

Cherokee ISD issued the following announcement.

Due to the UIL Mitigation Guidelines, schools may allow specators and fans to attend games and events within a maximum 50% capacity limitation, provided that appropriate spacing between spectators is maintained. Specators and fans are required to wear face coverings.  Hand sanitizing stations will be available.

For Cherokee ISD, due to the limited space all spectators and fans must have a ticket to attend home and away games.  Tickets will be available to players and cheerleaders' families first.  The remaining tickets will be available for spectators and fans starting Wednesday of each week from the CISD office. First come, first served. (Visiting teams will obtain tickets from their own schools)  A ticket will allow you to attend the game, but you are still responsible for the gate fee upon arriving to the game.  Individuals with game passes must have a ticket as well.  No ticket, no entry.

School staff must self-screen before games or events.  Parents must ensure they do not send a student to participate in a game or activity if the student has COVID-19 symptoms.  Districts must screen visitors before entering the school site or facility. The district is permitted to prevent any individual who fails the screening from being admitted onto the site or into the facility.

Live Telecasts are allowed. More information to come.

Concession stands must follow mitigation guidlines as well.
