KerrKonnect, Kerrville’s nonprofit door-to-door transit system, will offer free rides to early voters – whether members or not – living within 10 miles of the Kerr County Courthouse on Oct. 22.

The early voting free-ride service will be made available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., according to the City of Kerrville. Transportation will be to one of two early voting locations, depending on proximity and scheduling.

“We are providing a way for people who want to vote early to make it to the polls,” KerrKonnect Director Whit Matteson said. “We are always trying to find ways to serve the community with better transportation, and what better way than offering an option for those wanting to exercise their right to vote.”

Those interested in the free service are encouraged to call KerrKonnect’s office at 830-315-5377 to schedule a ride.
