Austin Community College issued the following announcement.
The Austin Community College District (ACC) will close for winter break beginning 5 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, until 8 a.m. Monday, January 4.
Spring registration will remain open through the break, and full virtual support services will resume when the college reopens on Monday, January 4. ACC offers four different ways to learn in spring:
- Flexible Online | Coursework can be completed fully online.
- Scheduled Online | Classes meet at set times and all work is completed remotely.
- Hybrid | Classes include both online and in-person requirements. Lectures are held primarily online and hands-on learning such as labs are held on campus.
- In-Person | Classes meet in-person, on-campus with social distancing measures in place (limited options in spring 2021.)
