Hill Country Chronicle

Of the 11,245 people living in Fredericksburg in 2019, 55.3 percent (6,213) were women and 44.7 percent (5,032) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Hill Country Chronicle.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 3,032-to-2,651. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,876 females and 1,398 males.
