There were 12 Asian students enrolled in Llano ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Llano ISD schools welcomed 1,937 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 0.6% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Llano ISD roughly covers schools within Llano County and has a main office in Llano.

Among the four schools in Llano ISD schools, Llano High School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of seven students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
