On Tuesday evening, Representative Chip Roy of Texas's 21st District appeared on KTSA radio to discuss his views on cartels, deportations, and border security. During the interview, he expressed strong opinions on the measures he believes are necessary to address these issues.

Roy stated, "Even the military ought to be used as necessary to take out the cartels, and if we need to pass the authorization of the use of military force to go take out the cartels, then so be it. I am tired of these individuals targeting Americans." He emphasized his frustration with certain countries in the Western Hemisphere aligning with China, saying, "These countries... have been piggybacking off the United States of America for a long time. Now, they're saddling up with China. That stuff needs to end. They need to know that we mean business."

The congressman also addressed local law enforcement's role in enforcing laws alongside federal agencies: "Local law enforcement has a duty to enforce the law... And we need to make sure that we're holding them to account if they have to be arrested or if they have to be otherwise dealt with, and so be it."

Roy highlighted his commitment to securing communities and borders by removing dangerous criminals and those unlawfully residing in the U.S.: "But we need to carry out the job the American people put us into office to carry out... improve the country by making sure Americans can go back to work."

He concluded by advocating for decisive action against those unlawfully present in communities: "But I'm in favor of taking all the steps necessary... re-establish the rule of law, and that's what we need to do."
