Rep. Chip Roy of Texas has expressed support for President Trump's recent executive order to withdraw the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO). The announcement was made in a statement released on Tuesday morning.

Roy stated, "President Trump's Executive Order to get this country out of the World Health Organization deserves both thanks and commendation." He criticized the WHO, claiming it does not serve American interests and described it as a "globalist propaganda machine" that allegedly supports the Chinese Communist Party and promotes what he termed "woke nonsense."

Furthermore, Rep. Roy urged Congress to take legislative action by passing his proposed bill, the “No Taxpayer Funding for the World Health Organization Act” (H.R. 401). He emphasized that this measure would prevent future administrations from allocating U.S. tax dollars to the organization.

The statement reflects ongoing debates about international cooperation and funding priorities within U.S. foreign policy.
