Roy advocated for in 2019—reinstating Title 42 and the Remain in Mexico policies, and addressing birthright citizenship. Rep. Roy emphasized that these actions signal a return to prioritizing the rule of law and putting American citizens first.
Rep. Roy urged Congress to support these initiatives, especially with a Republican majority in both houses and the presidency. He called for swift action to provide necessary resources and implement long-term policy changes to secure the border permanently.
