Hannah Arvey promoted to legislative director by Congressman Chip Roy

Today, Congressman Chip Roy from Texas' 21st district announced the promotion of Hannah Arvey to Legislative Director. Arvey previously served as a Senior Policy Advisor in Roy's office.

Arvey has specialized in national security, defense, and foreign affairs. She played a significant role in guiding the passage of H.R. 23 through the U.S. House, a bill sanctioning the International Criminal Court. Her responsibilities also include veterans affairs, education, and other legislative issues.

"Hannah has been with our office from the very beginning, serving as our very first intern," Congressman Roy stated. "She is an indispensable part of our team, well respected among her peers throughout Capitol Hill, and brings a wealth of legislative experience and expertise to the table. We are blessed to have her and look forward to her service now in this new role."

Arvey's career includes roles as Staff Assistant for Congressman Jody Hice and various positions within TX-21 office such as Legislative Aide, Legislative Assistant, and Senior Policy Advisor. Originally from Alpharetta, Georgia, she graduated from Georgia Southern University and is married to James for six years.
