Richland Springs ISD issued the following announcement.
In response to COVID-19, Governor Abbott extended the temporary closure of Texas schools until May 4. RSISD students will not return to campus, and teachers will continue with homebound instruction and lessons. RSISD campus is closed March 23, 2020 through May 4, 2020.
These dates can be extended. As with all school districts, Richland Springs ISD is working to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus. Our primary goal is the safety of our community, students and staff. Our staff has pulled together and are working as a team to educate our students. We are a community coming together in this crisis.
