Among the three schools in Real County, Nueces Canyon Elementary School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 144 students, while Big Springs Charter School welcomed 135 students and ranked third in the 2022-23 school year.
Leakey School is a part of Leakey ISD, which roughly covers schools within Real County with its main office in Leakey.
In the previous school year, Leakey School also had the highest number of students among Real County schools.
