There were 33 African American students enrolled in Burnet CISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 2.9% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Burnet CISD schools welcomed 3,304 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, African American students comprised 1% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Burnet CISD roughly covers schools within Burnet County and has a main office in Burnet.

Among the six schools in Burnet CISD schools, Burnet High School recorded the highest enrollment of African American students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 11 students.
