Representatives Chip Roy of Texas and Andy Biggs of Arizona have formally requested that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) investigate what they describe as a coverup by the Biden Administration concerning the case known as the "D.C. 5." The case involves the remains of five aborted children reportedly discovered at the Washington Surgi-Clinic in March 2022 by a pro-life advocacy group.

The letter sent by the representatives highlights their concerns regarding the FBI under the Biden Administration and the former Director Christopher Wray. The representatives, who chair the Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government and the Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance, expressed disappointment over what they see as a lack of transparency and accountability. In the letter, they state that the FBI "departed from its core public safety mission."

Roy and Biggs are urging the FBI to reconsider its decision not to investigate the matter. They criticize the administration’s failure to enforce the Partial-Birth Abortion Act and the Born Alive Infants Protection Act, emphasizing the need to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the "D.C. 5."

The correspondence concludes with a call for action from federal authorities concerning what the representatives view as unresolved questions related to the case.
