City of Fredericksburg issued the following announcement.

City Offices Closures for Christmas Holidays

City offices will be closed for the Christmas Holidays. This includes City Hall, Law Enforcement Offices, the Recycling Center, and the Sanitary Landfill.

There will be no interruption in garbage collection service. 

Please note the hours we will be closed.

City Hall:

• Closed Thursday and Friday, December 24th and 25th
• Open regular hours on Monday, December 28th

Sanitary Landfill:

• Closed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, December 24th, 25th, and 26th
• Open regular hours on Monday, December 28th

*Garbage collection will remain on the regular schedule. There are no garbage collection holidays.

Recycling Center:

• Closed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, December 24th, 25th, and 26th
• Open regular hours on Monday, December 28th

Animal Shelter:

• Closed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, December 24th, 25th, and 26th
• Open regular hours on Monday, December 28th

Law Enforcement Offices:

• Closed Thursday and Friday, December 24th and 25th
• Open regular hours on Monday, December 28th
