City of Fredericksburg issued the following announcement.

City offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 26th and 27th, for the Thanksgiving Holidays. This includes City Hall, Law Enforcement Offices, the Recycling Center, the Sanitary Landfill, and the Animal Shelter

There will be no interruption in garbage collection service. 

Please note the hours we will be closed.

City Hall:

• Closed Thursday and Friday, November 26th and 27th
• Open regular hours on Monday, November 30th

Sanitary Landfill:

• Closed Thursday and Friday, November 26th and 27th
• Open regular hours on Saturday, November 28th

*Garbage collection will remain on the regular schedule. There are no garbage collection holidays.

Recycling Center:

• Closed Thursday and Friday, November 26th and 27th
• Open regular hours on Saturday, November 28th

Animal Shelter:

• Closed Thursday and Friday, November 26th and 27th
• Closed Saturday, November 28th
• Open regular hours on Monday, November 30th

Law Enforcement Offices:

• Closed Thursday and Friday, November 26th and 27th
• Open regular hours on Monday, November 30th
